The information that was used to determin the boundaries for each district is found in the Clerk of District Courts. Most the districts had an actual legal description of the boundaries where the others (Nutting, Danford) only mentioned the people in the district each year. There were maps found in the documents to help gave general location of the boundary.There are several Districts (Arnold, Bannister, ODonnell, Shiloh) that are no more as they have been taken over by the City of Billings. Kratz Drain District is no more and was taken over by Yellowstone County.

This feature class was created to help determine where the individual boundaies are for each district and to help determine who is in a district versus who is not.
Drain Districts
Drain", "Districts", "Drain Districts", "Arnold", "Bannister", "Baseline", "Birely", "Canyon Creek", "Carroll", "Custer", "Danford", "Holling", "Kratz", "Midway", "Nutting", "ODonnell", "Shepherd", "Shiloh"
}
